Jerzy Kowalczuk

Jerzy Kowalczuk is a Director of Functional Safety at Harman International in Karlsbad, Germany. Jerzy has over 30 years of combined experience in the Automotive Industry and Science. He participated and led the development of many Embedded Automotive Powertrain Functional Safety/Systems/SW projects, mainly for Delphi/GM/Harman supporting customers such BMW, GM, VW, JLR, Rolls Royce, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, just to name a few. Working for the Purdue University, GM, Delphi, Woodward, and now for Harman International, Jerzy held numerous leading roles in Europe and the USA. Jerzy holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering. His continuing education includes among other courses a postgraduate study in Computer Science and Green Belt certification.
