Oscar Ballan

Functional Safety Engineering Manager Xilinx

Oscar Ballan is Functional Safety Engineering Manager in Xilinx since January 2015. Previously he was leading the Functional Safety Management Office in STMicroelectronics for the Automotive Group. With 20+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry he has been working on Functional Safety for integrated circuits since 2008 leading various assessments targeting ASIL levels D, C and B. He is co-author of different publications related to software fault grading and fault injection on integrated circuits. He got an MS degree in Electronic Engineering at University of Padova and an MBA at Hult International Business School, London campus.
