Karl Greb

Director of Functional Safety NVIDIA

Karl Greb is a Safety Engineering Director at NVIDIA and oversees a variety of hardware and system level safety activities in support of autonomous driving.  Karl has been involved in the US TAG for ISO 26262 since 2009 and has represented US TAG interests in the international working group since 2012.  He was project leader for ISO/PAS 19451, “Application of ISO 26262 to Semiconductors” and was leader of the ISO 26262 semiconductor subgroup.  Karl holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, is licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) and is a Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) in safety-related hardware design.
