Senior Staff Engineer - IP Quality and Functional Safety Synopsys

Shivakumar Chonnad has been working in the IP industry for 30 years. Shiv has been involved in the design, verification, hardware testing and product development from concept to delivery. Shiv’s current role is in IP Quality and Functional Safety group defining methodologies for Synopsys tool flows and IP cores for safety-critical applications. Shiv has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Karnatak University (India). Shiv holds a patent and he wrote the book Verilog FAQ’s.
